what is CAPTCHA
CAPTCHA stands for 'Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart'. One form of CAPTCHA which is becoming very common online is where the user is asked to key in some text which is shown distorted in a graphic on registration forms etc. Although they can be a bit of an irritant, they protect websites from automated scripts posing as genuine users.

why we introduced it
Having been subjected to malicious scripting attacks, we have reluctantly decided to add a CAPTCHA to our signup form. It protects us while still allowing us to continue to offer the service to you.

how to use it
In the signup form on the left, you will see some distorted text. If you would like a mailexpire alias, please key fill in the form as normal, and fill in the new field below the distorted text, keying in the text. The text can sometimes be tricky to read, so if you would like to request a different graphic, just click on the reload (blue circular arrow) icon below the graphic to get a new one.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank the gang at www.captcha.cc for providing a great, easy to implement solution.
